Cabins on the Klutina River in Copper Center

Want the Alaska wilderness experience without sleeping on the ground? Our cabins at King For A Day give you a comfortable home base right on the Klutina River. Each cabin is fully equipped with running water, beds, a kitchenette, and a private deck where you can hear the river from your chair.

 

All cabins include towels, green non-toxic toiletries, shower access, and freezer space for your catch.

Sockeye Cabin

Two-story cabin with a red roof. Upper floor has sleeping quarters for anglers or families. Lower floor includes toilet, kitchenette, and common space. Private deck with BBQ, picnic table, fire ring, and parking.

Includes: 4 beds, running water, toilet, microwave, mini-fridge, coffee maker, outdoor grill and stove top, propane tank, fire ring, private parking, luxury towels, and green non-toxic toiletries.

Note: Due to the two-story layout with steep stairs, this cabin is not recommended for guests with mobility limitations.

Chinook Cabin

Our single-story cabin with the green roof. Formerly a Glennallen Visitor Center, converted into a riverside fishing cabin. Step onto your private deck and listen to the river. Complete with fire ring and private parking.

 

Includes: 4 twin beds, running water, toilet, microwave, mini-fridge, coffee maker, outdoor grill and stove top, propane tank, fire ring, private parking, luxury towels, and green non-toxic toiletries.

Coach Cabin

Class A motorhome cabin. Queen bed in master with mirrors and closet space. Full bathroom with private shower. Full kitchen and pullout for guests. Private patio with BBQ.

Note: No pets allowed in Coach Cabin. A $500 cleaning fee will be charged if pets are found present.

Cabin Policies

All cabins require a 2-night minimum stay. Check-in is at 1:00 PM, checkout at 11:00 AM. A non-refundable first-night deposit is required. No smoking in any cabin. Dogs are welcome in Sockeye and Chinook Cabins with a $50 non-refundable pet deposit ($25 each additional pet). Please keep pets off furniture and on the ground floor of Sockeye Cabin.

 

When checking out, please return the cabin to the condition you found it. Lost keys result in a $45 replacement fee. Full policies are on our Campground Overview page.

Our cabins offer warmth, privacy, and a bed near the Klutina. After fishing or exploring, enjoy your deck, fire ring, and river sounds. Limited cabins book quickly.
