From our home base at King For A Day Campground, we run guided ATV tours into the Alaskan backcountry, kayaking day trips and overnights on remote lakes, and full-day sightseeing tours to Valdez. Whether you need a rest day from fishing or you’re traveling with someone who’d rather explore than cast, we’ve got you covered.
14 miles up, 14 miles down the Klutina Road. Over 30 miles through historic Copper Center into Alaska’s wilderness. Wildlife, glacier views, and landscapes that you have to see in person.

Spend the day in Valdez with a tour guide through Copper Center, visiting waterfalls and glaciers. Enjoy a 2-hour self-guided tour in Valdez for lunch, shops, or the marina. On the return, stop at Allison Point for wildlife viewing, possibly seeing salmon.
